Benei Anusim / Crypto Jews (Videos) English

Benei Anusim is the Hebrew term for people whose ancestors were forcibly converted to Catholicism over five centuries ago, during the time of the Spanish Inquisition. Historians have often referred to them by the derogatory term "Marranos." “There is a real awakening taking place among the Anousim, many of whom feel a strong and enduring connection to their Jewish heritage. In the late 14th and 15th century, at the time of mass expulsions of Jews from Spain and Portugal, the Bnai Anousim remained behind, where they continued to preserve their Jewish identity and to practice the Jewish faith covertly. Ancient Faith Marranos come home / Gabi Newman New phenomenon sweeps Portugal: Descendants of Marranos rediscover their Jewish roots and the Jewish faith. One Porto community undergoes mass conversion Full story As a result, this unique phenomenon is still evident even today, even though the Inquisition invested enormous efforts over the centuries to eradicate it. The Benei Anusim are re-discovering their identity as Jews. They are the awakening giant and are finally “bridging” to our Jewish heritage. The Torah: Never Changing but Always Refreshing. (RAMBAM 13 Principals of Faith - Principal Nine, Lesson Eight Excerpt; Page 269) The Spiritual identity of the Torah appears, at first glance, to present us with two contradictory themes. The Importance of Tithing / tzedakah

The Hebrew word "tzedakah" is commonly translated as "charity" or "tithe." But this is misleading. "Charity" implies that your heart motivates you to go beyond the call of duty. "Tzedakah," however, literally means "righteousness" -- doing the right thing. A "tzaddik," likewise, ...

Prayer can take on multiple forms. In the life and teachings of our Holy Rabbi, Maran Yeshua Melech HaMashiach we find diverse examples. Is it Jewish to Believe in our Rabbi Yeshua HaMashiach?

Is it Jewish to Believe in our Rabbi Yeshua HaMashiach?
