Tassels / Tzitzit / Fringes – Mashiach

ציצית – Tzitzit, or Tessels: The children of Israel are commanded to wear tassels on the 4 corners (canfei) of their garments with a cord or thread of blue in each one (see Bamidbar 15:37-41 and Devarim / Deut. 22).   HaShem has given us many reminders of who He is and what He desires for us to do. The most prominent of these reminders are the moedim (appointed times / feast days), the tzitzit are also reminders given to us by HaShem. There is no guesswork involved here in trying to figure out what God had in mind when He instructed us to wear tzitzit.
