I was shocked to watch a video today where president Obama pardon the life of two turkeys from being slaughtered. What? Turkeys? I was amazed, not because of this American tradition but because here we are in the midst of struggles in Israel and this man feels the need to ignore the life of the Israeli people and even the life of the Gaza people. He has been disrespectful to the Israelis, a nation who he claims is “America’s greatest ally in the middle east”. So what about us?
