How can God use me?

use mashiach | How can God use me?

Have you ever asked yourself this question? How can God use me?  I’m guilty of too many offences in the past! Let me tell you, you are not alone. Did you know that…?

Moshe stuttered. David’s armor didn’t fit. Yochanan Mark deserted Rabbi Shaul (Paul). Hosea’s wife was a prostitute. Amos’ only training was in the school of fig-tree pruning. Jacob was a liar. David had an affair. Sh’lomo (Solomon) was too rich and had too many wives.

Our holy Rabbi, Maran Yeshua HaMashiach was too poor. Abraham was too old. David was too young. Kefa (Peter) was afraid of death. Eliezar (Lazarus) was dead. Yochanan was self-righteous. Naomi was a widow. Rabbi Shaul from Damascus was a persecutor of the believers in Mashiach. Moshe was a murderer. Jonah ran from God’s will. Miriam was a gossip.

Gideon and Thomas both doubted. Yermiyahu (Jeremiah) was depressed and suicidal. Elisha (Elijah) was burned out. Yochanan the Immerser was a loudmouth. Martha was a worrywart. Noah got drunk. Did I mention that Moshe had a short fuse? So did Kefa and Rabbi Shaul- well, lots of folks did.

But HaShem doesn’t require a job interview for salvation. He is our Heavenly Father. He doesn’t look at financial gain or loss. He’s not prejudiced or partial, judging, grudging, sassy or brassy, not deaf to our cry, not blind to our need.

He knows who we are and what we are and loves us in spite of ourselves. Hasatan says, "You’re not worthy." Our holy Rabbi Yeshua Melech HaMashiach, the pierced one looks at the soul of the individual and says, "So what? Satan looks back and sees your mistakes. HaShem looks back and sees the work he accomplished for you. He doesn’t calculate how you failed in the past. It’s not even on the record.

Sure, there are lots of reasons why HaShem (God) shouldn’t call you. But if you love Him and hunger after Him, He’ll use you in spite of who you are or where you’ve been, what you have done, or the fact that you are not perfect!
