His Yeshuah! (Salvation)

His Yeshuah!

כי לישועתך קוינו כל היום -ומצפים לישועה

Have you longed for His Salvation / Yeshuah? Have you sought with all your might what the Hebrew Scriptures say concerning the Holy Mashiach?  Have you ever wondered the historical reasons why our holy Rabbi, Maran Yeshua was rejected as the Mashiach.

The fact is that the people of Israel did not reject Yeshua as the holy Mashiach, the Jewish power structure (leadership) in the Hekal did for their own gain; we all know that for you to be a Kohen Gadol / High Priest you need to be a direct descendant of Aaron, but the Kohen Gadol 2000 years ago was bought for a price (corrupted). They rejected Mashiach, rejecting the ultimate hope for Israel for profit! They did not rejected Maran Yeshua because he did not fit the profile as Mashiach, but they rejected him because he was not good for business, specially business which were run in a corrupt manner.

We say in the amidah prayer: “Ki li’shuatcha Kivinu kol Hayom” “For your Salvation we do long all day long.”  Did they really long for His Yeshuah / Salvation?   Have you long for His Yeshuah?

Wanting Mashiach now!!!

In the days of the returning of  Mashiach, all of Israel will be gathered to Israel were they will dwell in safety forever. In the days of Mashiach, the world will be full of the knowledge of God. In the days of Mashiach, all the Laws of Torah will be enforce and observed. In the days of days of Mashiach all things will be brought back as they were in Bereshit / Genesis, and the Shabbat  will be kept through out all the world, as even Adam and Eve kept it. See Yeshayahu 66:23

Mashiach-Tzidkaynu / (our Righteousness)

The Prophet Yeshayahu (Isaiah) in chapter 49:6 challenged our ancestors through Mashiach to become an Or LaGoyim, a "light unto the nations," I want to urge every one who holds to the hope of Mashiach to became more like him, Melech Mashiach Tzidkaynu.

"And he said, It is a light thing that thou shouldest be my servant (Mashiach) to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give thee (Mashiach) for a light to the Gentiles, that thou mayest be my salvation (Yeshuah in Hebrew) unto the end of the earth." Yeshayahu 49:6

That is our original calling, since we were chosen before the foundation of the world! So King Messiah inspires us to follow even in the same calling when he is speaking to His Talmidim in Sefer Mattityahu “You are the light of the world. A city situated on a mountain cannot be hidden. Nor do they take a lamp and put it under a peck-measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. So let your light shine before men, so that they may see your good works, and may glorify your Father Who is in Heaven” (Mattityahu / Matthew 5:14-16).

Also in the same tread we find here juxtaposed between the beatitudes and a description about the validity of the Torah, Maran Yeshua reminds the children of Israel that they are indeed the light. How ironic that “THE LIGHT” of the world is calling his listeners the light! Further along in the Good News of Mashiach’s accounts, we get further clarification as to just who is truly THE LIGHT by the testimony of the Shaliach Yochanan. “In him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it. There came a man sent from God, whose name was Yochanan. He came for testimony, to bear witness concerning the Light, that all might believe through him. He was not the Light, but he bore witness concerning the Light. The true Light that enlightens every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and the world came into being through him, and the world did not know him” (Yochanan / John 1:4-10). Maran Yeshua himself reiterates this theme about who is the “LIGHT” in His discussion with Nikdemon (Nicodemus). “And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the light; for their works were evil. For everyone who practices evil hates the light, and does not come to the light, so that his works should be exposed. But he who is doing the truth comes to the light, that his works may be manifested, having been worked in God” (Yochanan 3:19-21).

The notion of building an Or LaGoyim has fallen out of fashion with many of us. So in theory the more we know our holy Rabbi, Maran Yeshua, the more we reflect HaShem’s glory. By beholding the nature of God in Mashiach with unveiled minds, we can be more like HaShem. In the Good News of Mashiach, we see the truth about Maran Yeshua, and it transforms us morally as we understand and apply it. As our knowledge deepens, the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) helps us to change. Becoming like Maran Yeshua is a progressive experience. The more closely we follow Maran Yeshua, the more we will be like HaShem. So why are we resisting. Changes are hard, but we need to change even more so. Mashiach is coming back soon, and He is expecting us to do our Job keeping the Mitzvot (commandments), and proclaiming the Good News of Mashiach to the World.
