Becoming "Torah Observant"

The following explanation is meant to serve as a primer to the individuals’ search to become "Torah Observant". The following "drash" (teaching example) should enlighten the average believer: ‘Most new automobiles come with two important pieces of literature: an owner’s manual, and a set of registration papers. The first of these is free with the purchase of the car. The latter needs to be obtained legally by the purchaser. ‘In the event of a traffic altercation (accident, speeding, etc.), the driver of the vehicle is required to produce the proof of registration (among other things) to the policeman making the report. Failure to do so will have serious repercussions on the part of the driver, as this information vitally links the driver to the ownership of the car. Obviously the registration paper is very important.‘On a similar vein, a long trip out and abroad on a hot summer [...]

We need a Jewish World Leader!

We need a Jewish World Leader!

Would we have a Jewish world leader? If this question were asked of the people of this planet, the most likely answer would be: "Why ask such a foolish question?" After all, the Jews comprises only one percent of the world’s population. Israel is considered a non-entity by most of the world’s inhabitants. So, if one should tak ...

Practicing Tzedakah / Charity

Practicing Tzedakah / Charity

Giving may seem like a sacrifice at times  (especially when money is tight) or we often wonder if the person we give to is worthy or really needs our help, but in reality being charitable to others does more for us, for our relationships with G-d and with our fellow human beings than it does to the people who we give to. Jewish people are reno ...

Pride Will Come Before the Fall – Part #1

Pride Will Come Before the Fall - Part #1

As part of the sanctification process that God would like to start with each one of us – one of the things that God will be doing, through the power of the Holy Spirit, is to either take out or prevent certain types of negative qualities from entering into our personalities. Without question, one of the major qualities that God will be moving ...

Do we need Christmas? Origin Of Christmas

Do we need Christmas? Origin Of Christmas

Do we not have our own holidays, our own traditions? Do we need to (if even in a secular fashion) pay tribute to a holiday that was traditionally marked by pogroms and other displays of Anti-Semitism, and just plain rooted in paganism? Should we engage in the frenzy of excess that many engage in during December, and then suffer the feelings of guil ...

Idiot’s Guide to Islam (184 plus Videos)

Idiot's Guide to Islam (184 plus Videos)

I have been fully aware, from my residence both in the UK and the USA, that the ordinary person in the street has very little knowledge or understanding – if any – of the history, culture and religion of either the Arabs or the Muslims. I am also sure that this ignorance is wide-spread all over the non-Muslim world. It is also a fact th ...

King Messiah said: (words of the wise)

One day a famous Jewish teacher said, "Someone who is trustworthy in a small matter is also trustworthy in large ones, and someone who is dishonest in a small matter is also dishonest in large ones. So if you haven’t been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who is going to trust you with the real thing? If you haven’t been trus ...

The Mask of the Marranos Jews

The Mask of the Marranos Jews

The creation of the modern state of Israel has awakened many dormant cultural pursuits, perhaps none so dramatic as the discovery of long-lost Jews. Every decade or so, another tribe of supposed descendants of biblical Israel—marked by quirky uses of Jewish symbols, eclectic religious observance, and a smattering of Hebrew prayers — is ...

Pride Will Come Before the Fall – Part #2

Pride Will Come Before the Fall - Part #2

As you will see in one of the Scripture verses below – Satan was one of the highest of all the angels God has ever created. He was allowed to literally walk on the mountain of God Himself. He thus had to know how awesome and how powerful God really is and that there was no way that anyone could ever begin to try and overthrow Him. If God is a ...

I Am A Zionist

I Am A Zionist

At a time where Zionism is defamed and slandered, this article sets out the truth. I am a Zionist. I believe that the Jewish people established itself in the Land of Israel, albeit somewhat late. Had it listened to the alarm clock, there would have been no Holocaust, and my dead grandfather – the one I was named after – would have been ...
