Messiah (Hebrew: משיח; mashiah, moshiah, mashiach, or moshiach, ("anointed [one]") is a term used in the Hebrew Bible to describe the hope of Israel. Melech HaMashiach.

Mashiach is the hope of Israel, not just a hope, but what the whole Hebrew Scriptures point to. Every working day we pray a prayer called “Et tzemach David” / “The sprout of David” We ask our G-d to bring the Mashiach soon in our days. We ask our God that His Yeshuah / Salvation come quick, (We ask for the Mashiach to sprout- literally). But the question we never ask ourselves is: Are we ready for the Mashiach? Are we ready to change for Him? When Mashiach comes back He will not change Torah, but will teach us to walk in it and restore Torah to its full meaning. At the end Mashiach will define Judaism, not Judaism the Mashiach. Are you ready and willing to change?
