Welcome to the Messianic Jewish Torah Observant Synagogue Bet HaDerech, in Toronto, Canada. Our Purpose is to learn more about the hope of Israel, the Messiah, Maran Rabeinu Yeshua Melech HaMashiach (King Messiah) and to worship the God of Israel in spirit and truth. Our congregation / synagogue is a place where you can discover and explore biblical Judaism in an atmosphere of support and sharing. Whether you come from a traditional background or a new to synagogue life, here you can find a spiritual home. From young children to senior citizens all and families should feel comfortable and welcomed in their second home, and the Rabbi should be someone you can turn to at all times in your life for guidance, comfort and inspiration.

We are a Torah observant Sephardic Jewish Congregation, located in the city of Toronto, Canada. Bet HaDerech is a place where Biblical Judaism is celebrated, where Jews non-Jews are developed and where they may find camaraderie and satisfaction in being Jewish.

We believe it’s important to preserve our beautiful ancient heritage while still living fully in the modern world. While we follow many traditional practices, we’re open to innovation and change, and we welcome new ideas and new faces. We’d love to have you join us and invite you to make yourself at home!

Our History

We are a Torah Observant Sephardic Jewish Congregation located in Toronto, Canada. Our commitment to Jewish experiences and learning opportunities that enhance a biblical-based, ethical and everyday lives. We value each member, young or old, novice or learned, and encourage initiative, creativity, and leadership.

Bet HaDerech was founded in 2006 in response to requests for a place and information from people all over the world, specially Latin American or Spanish speaking Sephardic Jews in Canada who had visited the Torah-Observant web site of www.directoriomesianico.com founded in 1997.

So follow the path of Torah-observant Messianic Judaism, also called Nazarene Judaism, for anyone with an open-mind and a desire to find truth, which must lead back to the original faith or true Torah Messianic Judaism.

Our Mission / Vission

1. To provide a welcoming place for prayer and worship in the Sephardic Jewish tradition (Bet Tefillah).
2. To educate our members in the principles and ideals of Judaism (Bet Midrash).
3. To provide a gathering place for life cycle events, holy days, festivals, and the celebration of Jewish culture (Bet Knesset).
4. To act responsibly as a member of the community at large and improve the welfare of others (Tikkun Olam).
5. Reveal first to the people of Israel, and also to the world, the true identity of Yeshua the Messiah.
6. Call the brothers and sisters in the Body of Messiah to the proper understanding of God’s covenant promises to Israel and their restoration.
7. Support Israel and the Jewish people in opposing all acts of hatred against them.

Sephardic Minyan

A Sephardic Minyan has been established to accommodate the Sephardic membership. Daily and Shabbat prayer services are conducted in the Sephardic tradition to celebrate our ancestral origins. Bet HaDerech: Bringing the Besorah HaTova / HaGeula (Good News of Mashiach and Redemption) at the hand of the Messiah, the anointed one, the Redeemer of Israel and the world! We offer information about the coming / return of the Holy Jewish Messiah.
